Here I am and all I can say is, " Ready to go to the rally"
Headed to the Swamp Scooter at Lafayette 08.
Houston to Lake Charels on I-10 is a bit crowed as usual in 08
Louisiana meal I fixed for Sydni in 07.
Once again I gave Sydni a taste of Louisiana cooking in 08.
Sydni said I had not changed a bit since last year. Just the same meals in 08 as 07.
"OK" So I gave in and bought her a big meal. Don't call me a cheap scape in 08 !
This is one of the Swamp Scooter members that came over to make sure we were welcome. Good people and they put on a very good rally.
Dance hall in 07.
Same Dance Hall in 08.
Sydni at the gator pond in 07.
Sydni at same gator pond in 08.
Big Hat Thomas Fields and his Foot Stompin' Zydeco Band were GREAT.
Good friend from Houston Manual Salinas that took our picture below in 07 at the dance.
Sydni said "Just hold on big boy, I will do the work." The dance step I do best.
You can say that again !
Home built V8 Trike that pulls a full size camper. He has put a lot of thought in building this. 07
Same Trike, same camper. Just a few more miles. in 08
Looks like they may have added a little more baggage.
Don't know why she thought this was so funnie. I think she may have been making fun of me. If I was on front, she was the one on back .
Ha ha you self.
She thought I would look good in the Bikini Leathers.
"OK" "OK"
Here I stand with Lyle, He is showing me a magazine article about him and the million miles he has traveled . He is at most ever rally. He is a real RIDER.
This is the bridge at Breaux Bridge LA.
They covered up the stained glass window for the storms.
Not one of the most lively places in Braux Bridge.
Makes me want to live my life a little better.
This is Butch. He took us out into the Swamp in his Crawfish boat. This man really knows his swamp. If you every get down there he can sure give you a good look at the swamp.
This is just a few of the many gators we saw while we were on Butch's boat.
Jr. I guess you could say Mr. Jr.
Big Gator swimming. Butch said from the snout to the eyes in number of inches is a good estimate of how long in feet the total length of the gator is. Only problem was I could not get Sydni to go tape measure the snout. The estimate for this one was 12 to 14 foot or over.
Another BIG one. They were every where !
This picture is on the way to see a gator hole when the camera battery went down. WHAT ! YOU LEFT THE EXTRA BATTRY ON THE MOTORCYCLE " @@#$% said Delton. Don't worry Sydni had her way of getting even.
This is Butch and I again. He is one H--l of a good swamp guide and if you are ever in Louisiana and want to see the real Louisiana please take a Crawfish boat ride with him. He is the best. http://www.cajuncountryswamptours.com
